A message from City Manager Joseph Forte this afternoon:
"I want to make you all aware that the next bridge art project will begin this Saturday and Sunday. A local mosaic tile artist has volunteered to install the mosaic tiles on the east bridge wall on Daytona Avenue over the LPGA canal. I am excited for this project bringing another classy piece of artwork to Holly Hill.
During the installation over the next several Saturdays and Sundays, Daytona Avenue, northbound, will be closed from Sica Hall to LPGA Blvd. I know this will cause some inconvenience to drivers who will have to turn around in the parking lot of Sica Hall but I would prefer not to shut down the entire road from 10th Street to LPGA and it is important that the artist be safe while working in the road. There is no sidewalk on the eastside of the bridge for him to work from. I apologize for the inconvenience but I believe this will be a wonderful project for the community to enjoy." Joe
