Water Main Break and Boil Notice - 8th Street, Grove Avenue, Orange Avenue

A water main break occurred today, February 1, 2024,  that has necessitated the loss of water pressure at multiple locations. As such, a Boil Water Notice is in effect on 8th Street between Magnolia Avenue and Grove Avenue, on Grove Avenue and on Orange Avenue. Door knockers have been distributed to homes affected. 

Following (2) consecutive tests that are negative for bacteriological intrusion, rescission notices will be distributed to affected homes. If you have any questions at all, please contact the Public Works Department at (386) 248-9463.
