Boil Water Notice

Due to a water main break located on LPGA Blvd. in Holly Hill ALL Holly Hill Water Customers are on a Precautionary Boil Water Notice. Customer are asked to boil water for the next 48-72 hours while testing proves there is no bacteriological contamination present. Once the test results are negative for 2 consecutive days, the boil water notice will be lifted and notice provided to customer through the media, e-mail and social media outlets.

The water main break was located in an area that was not able to be isolated therefore, the water plant had to be temporarily shut down to allow for the repair.  The repair which lasted less than one hour was successful however, because the pressure in the water plant dropped down below 20 psi, all Holly Hill water customers are being asked to boil any water being consumed for the next 48-72 hours.
There will be sufficient public notification however, please forward as you feel necessary to notify the public.
I apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience as the City completes the process to ensure safe drinking water.
