This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of streets, sidewalks, curbs, storm-water drainage systems, right-of-way maintenance, tree trimming and removal, traffic markings and signage. Supports, leads and trains staff through the delivery of hands-on leadership and performance of maintenance and repair activities for streets and drainage projects.
Position requires possession of a high school diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma. Five (5) years’ experience in the construction and maintenance of roads and drainage systems including three (3) years’ supervisory experience. Must possess a valid Class “B” Commercial Florida Driver’s License, with tanker endorsement. Current MOT Certification. Qualified Storm-water Management Inspector Certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months from date of hire.
Salary Range: $36,388 – $58,171 annual (hourly, non-exempt)
