Overview

Holly Hill Fire Rescue is a paid professional fire department comprised of a full time staff of fourteen personnel. Under the Fire Chief are three Lieutenants, three Engineers, six Firefighters, and one Staff Assistant.

The department operates out of a single station located at 1020 Daytona Avenue.  Fire apparatus includes a 2013 E-One Typhoon pumer and a 2001 Pierce Saber.

Holly Hill Fire Rescue provides primary fire and emergency medical services to the City’s 12,600 residents.  Automatic and Mutual Aid are also provided to our neighboring agencies; all total 3,000 plus calls annually.

It is the mission of the City of Holly Hill Fire Department to provide quality public safety, fire prevention, and public education to citizens, visitors, and commuters throughout our city. We will always strive to do this with the respect, courtesy, and compassion to those that we serve.

Emergency Medical Operations

Holly Hill Fire Rescue provides Advanced Life Support [ALS] [Non-transport] which is the highest level of pre-hospital emergency medical care.  There are 7 paramedics on staff.

Public and In House Education and Training

Several educational programs are taught by fire service and fire medical personnel and are available to the public.

These include:

  • Proper use of fire extinguishers
  • Programs for elementary and middle school students
  • Station tours

The Department has three State Certified Fire Instructors, two Live Burn Fire Instructors, two Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructors, one Pediatric Education for Pre-hospital Professionals Instructors, and one Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Instructor.
