Professional firefighting/paramedic duties of a varied nature under the direction of a superior officer. Work schedule consists of 24 hours on duty/48 hours off duty. The basic work period will consist of a 14-day work cycle.
Position requires possession of a high school diploma or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma and the completion of the minimum standards as required by the State of Florida, certified as a Firefighter II. Successful completion of all medical and fitness requirements. Must possess the Florida Certification as a Firefighter and the Florida Certification as a Paramedic. Must possess a current Florida Driver's License.
Salary Range: PG F-l; $11.34 per hour (based on 2912 hours annually) plus $1.65003 hourly paramedic pay.
