Performs skilled mechanical work in the repair and maintenance of grounds keeping and park maintenance equipment; light and heavy construction equipment; generators and all City vehicles.
Position requires possession of high school diploma or acceptable equivalency diploma. A combined total of at least four (4) years of mechanical experience in the following areas: automotive, truck, heavy equipment, and small engine repair and maintenance, completion of related mechanical school or accredited technical school. Must possess computer skills. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and must obtain a valid Class “B” Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement within 6 months from date of employment.
Salary Range: $27,165 – $44,325
