FPL 2026 Scheduled Preventative Maintenance Trimming

• Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) has advised the City that tree and vegetation maintenance will be taking place in our area over the coming weeks. This work will be performed by FPL’s qualified line-clearing contractor, Asplundh Tree Expert.
• Please refer to the boundary map for the area(s) where crews will be working. Residents whose properties require trimming or vegetation maintenance will be notified in advance of any work occurring on their property.
• Tree and vegetation maintenance plays a critical role in maintaining reliable electric service. Trees and overgrown vegetation are among the leading causes of power outages, particularly during hurricanes and severe weather events.
