Holly Hill, like the rest of Florida, faces challenges when it comes to water supply . A sustainable water supply is met by conservation and diversification of sources. One example is maximizing the use of reclaimed water.
We currently reuse about 25 percent of of wastewater treated to replace the use of traditional freshwater supplies. By using reclaimed water we can conserve traditional freshwater supplies and provide an environmentally responsible alternative to disposal of wastewater.
We currently use reclaimed water for landscape irrigation at the golf course and at Hollyland Park.
