Holly Hill Police Explorer Post 435

The Holly Hill Police Department is proud to sponsor one of the longest continuously operating Police Explorer Posts in the State of Florida. Established in 1973, the Holly Hill Police Explorers allow young people between the ages of 14 and 20 the opportunity to learn about law enforcement as a career option while serving the community through various civic projects.

Several of our officers began their law enforcement career as Explorers, and the tradition continues to build strong relationships between our agency and the youth of the community.

The organization instills strong leadership and character development skills in participating youth, in an atmosphere that breaks down barriers between officers and young people.

In addition to the many fun activities sponsored by the Post, our Explorers have the opportunity to participate in various state and national competitions designed to test their knowledge and skill in areas such as crime scene processing, accident investigation and crisis intervention.

Meetings are held every other Monday night from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Holly Hill Police Department in the training room.
